Activities

The camp’s activities will be open for most of the weekend. You can expect volleyball, soccer, swimming, canoeing, tennis, zip-lining, etc. We'll share more about these activities closer to the weekend, but definitely come prepared to have some fun!

Dress code

Throughout the weekend, please wear things that are comfortable and practical for you, given the venue. There are a few hundred yards of walking over uneven ground including grass, dirt, or gravel between parking, lodging, ceremony, and reception sites. The walk to the ceremony site is reasonably slanted. Though Ariel managed a practice run in block heels, we would recommend against heels!

We have outlines some directional suggestions for attire for the weekend.

  • Friday evening dinner: smart casual
  • Saturday evening festivities: somewhere in the semi-formal / cocktail range, with floral patterns highly encouraged!
  • Rest of weekend: casual attire & swimsuits!

Food

All meals will be served at the dining hall on camp from Friday dinner through Sunday brunch, and will be able to cater to basically any dietary restrictions on your RSVP. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Sleeping Logistics

If you are staying at the camp, please plan to bring your own bedding. The cabins are not insulated, so please pack accordingly!

  • Either twin sheets (larger will work too) and a blanket, or a sleeping bag
  • A pillow
  • A towel (or two) for showers & the lake!

If you asked us to provide bedding in the RSVP, we will provide you with a pillow, sheets, towels, and blankets.

Suggested Items to Pack:

  • Headlamp
  • Water bottle
  • Water / shower shoes
  • Sunscreen & bug spray
  • Athletic clothes (tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, field games, rope swings, etc.)
  • Swimming attire, hat, & sunglasses
  • Rain jacket (to keep in your bag and never use)
  • Shower towel and/or lake towel
  • Sleeping necessities (Sheets, pillow, blankets)
  • All necessary toiletries
  • Your dancing shoes!

Additional Considerations:

  • All cabins have electricity, lights, and ample outlets in them
  • Some cabins will have toilets, while others will need to use a shared bath house near their cabins
  • Most, if not all, cabins do not have a shower in them, so you will need to use a shared bath house near your cabin
  • There is little to no wifi or cell service at camp; we hope you can unplug with us! (Don't worry, camp staff can access wifi & landlines in case it is necessary)
  • These are rustic cabins, typical hotel amenities (toiletries, irons, hairdryers, etc. will not be available
