Q & A

Where is the wedding?

The wedding will be at Windsor Mountain International Summer Camp. Please see here for a map and here for their website.

How do I book lodging at camp?

You can let us know your sleeping plans on Friday & Saturday night via the RSVP. Rest assured that there will be a bed at camp for you. There is no per-head / per-night cost, the camp is reserved in entirety no matter who decides to stay. We will assign cabins based on attendance and do our best to make sure you are staying with people you know well.

Can you describe the lodging a bit more?

The Parent Trap is directionally accurate (and worth a re-watch for Lindsay’s teen star tour de force), and the vibe is very much glamping. You should expect to stay in a 4-8 person cabin / room with twin beds. The younger and more outdoorsy you are, the less likely you are to have luxury amenities such as attached bathrooms, but we expect everybody to have power and not need to share a bunk bed. WiFi exists in a central building, but is not prevalent—nor is cell service. Cabins are insulated, but not heated—this is generally not an issue this time of year in New England. There is ample parking on-site.

Wow, you two should go into sales. Where can I stay off-site?

There are B&B and hotel options about 30-45 minutes away in neighboring small towns, and in Concord, NH (~40 mins). For the closest non-camp lodging, we’d recommend AirBnB or equivalent, where there are a handful of options. You are encouraged to join for any meals and camp events even if you are not staying on site. Please be safe and plan ahead for transportation—you are welcome to stay for just one night or whatever works for you. Ridesharing apps should be assumed to not work in the area, and cell service is poor.

How will food work?

Please indicate your planned attendance for each meal between Friday dinner and Sunday brunch. All are welcome to each, but feel free to arrive and depart as works for your schedule. Outside of the Saturday evening meal, meals will be less formal, and more cafeteria-style. The staff at the camp will be preparing all the food in the on-site kitchen, with reasonable ability to cater to dietary restrictions. We will provide more detailed menus closer to the date. Please let us know ahead of time if this will be an issue for you—there are limited external options closer than Concord.

Are kids invited?

Unfortunately, we are planning for an adults-only weekend. We appreciate your understanding.

How should I get there?

The Boston—Windsor High Speed rail was filibustered in the Senate, so we’d recommend driving. For airports, Boston Logan is 1:45 away and Manchester, NH is 45 mins. For those looking for other options in the area, New York is 5 hours, and Portland, ME and Burlington, VT are 2 hours away.

What else is there to do in the area?

In Windsor NH, not much; come hang out at camp, there will be lots of activities there! If you’re in the area for longer, Northern New England is beautiful. Take a look at our Travel page for some recommendations!

How will I get more info & RSVP closer to the wedding date?

You or someone in your group should have received an email with an RSVP invite. If not, please use this link and enter your name and email to RSVP.
